Often smaller museums and cultural institutions are caught in an impossible situation: chronically short of staff and funds, they struggle to find the resources to apply for innovation grants, let alone execute new projects! This means that innovative projects in the field tend to come from larger organizations. This roundtable aims to discuss how beneficiaries of innovation grants and leading institutions in the field can design their projects to be easily replicable by others, including smaller organizations. How can we ensure that investments by grant-makers in any given project will benefit the field at large?
