The Spencer Museum of Art recently engaged in a website re-design to make the change to Drupal content management system and to optimize for mobile access. A new design template and menu structure was built to reflect the current mission and strategic planning of the museum. A new hierarchy of themes was used to organize the content. Screen aspect ratio and image size were designed to accommodate monitors and the range of devices in use today. By using Drupal, a new workflow for managing content updates was established. We are now looking to redesign the searchable online collection portion of the website. By receiving feedback from the web critics, we hope to incorporate it into our next phase of website development.
