Who attends?

MW conferences draw a diverse group of participants from many different specialities in all types of museums, galleries, science centers, and other cultural and heritage institutions. What unites us is an interest in the use of technology to achieve our organizations’ missions.

All registration fees are in $US.

NOTE: Registration Fees are based on the date payment is received (i.e. when credit card payment is validated or cheque is received), NOT on the date the Registration Form is created or submitted.

Registration Discounts
Register two people from your organization for the full conference and receive a $50 discount against every additional full registration.
All discounts are subject to verification by staff.
Discounts cannot be combined.
No discounts or honorariums are offered on single day registration.

Changing a Registration
You can add or remove items from your registration order prior to checking out by entering your order number and email on the online form. If you have checked out and wish to add items such as a workshop please create a new order. If you have alterations that need to be made to a completed order please email accounts@museumsandtheweb.com with details; an administration fee may apply.

Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers
Registrations are refundable before February 1, 2017, less a 10% handling fee, before March 1, 2017, less a 20% handling fee, before April 1, 2017, less a 40% handling fee. Thereafter Registrations cannot be refunded. Contact accounts@museumsandtheweb.com.

Registration may be transferred at any time before the conference, with advance notice. Contact accounts@museumsandtheweb.com.

Author’s Honorarium
All speakers must be registered for the full conference and pay the appropriate fee.

Authors who submit a paper by the Deadline and following the Guidelines, and who register before January 31, 2017, will receive a $150 honorarium, paid as a credit against their hotel bill at the Conference Hotel.

No Honoraria will be paid to co-authors who do not register for the conference. No Honoraria are given to Program Participants who do not submit papers. No Honoraria will be given to Program Participants who register after January 31, 2017, who register for a single day, or who submit a late paper – even if they have an ‘extension’.

Scholarships and Volunteers
Professionals from areas of need or small institutions are eligible for Scholarships and Volunteer program. Applications open in the November preceding the annual conference.

Student Registration
To confirm eligibility for the Student rate we shall request a scan of your student ID or proof of full time academic enrollment. In addition your Institutional affiliation on your badge, MW profile or program listing must match the academic institution with which you are affiliated.
