Oriental Institute Museum Mobile App
Nancy Harmon, Encurate, USA, Jean Evans, ,
The Oriental Institute Museum of the University of Illinois at Chicago is proud to now offer visitors the museum’s first interactive mobile app. The museum partnered with outside vendor, Encurate Mobile Technology, to power the app, but museum staff control and create the app’s design and content. Some goals of the mobile app include: a tool for the visitor to access content related to their specific interest areas, a way to highlight our strong docent and volunteer program, and a dynamic tool that promotes repeat visitation by providing regular content updates.
